According to research firm, Urbanation (who actively tracks the Toronto Condo Market) there are over 12,000 units that are being proposed in the Downtown West in Toronto (the area that includes the Entertainment District). Now that most parking lots in the city are spoken for, basically any building under 7 storeys are primed to redeveloped into a condo tower.

Along King St, there by far the most projects being proposed. It’s a little wonder why, King St is the main hub of action in the Entertainment District.

Entertainment District Condos in the proposal stage in Toronto:

401-405 King St W:

Builder: Terracap Management Inc. 39 Storeys and 442 units. Will be built when the current LCBO lease is up and will incorporate a brand new LCBO

369 King St W:

Builder: TASdesignBuild. 25 Storeys, 100 Units and no parking

369 King St W

355 King St W

Builder: Remington Group. 48 Storeys, 486 units. 1st and 2nd floors of the podium will consist of retail/gallery/lecture and theatre related space as well as hotel and residential lobbies.

357 King St W

Builder: Great Gulf Homes. 40 Storeys and 242 units. At the Former m5v condo sales centre.

327 King W

King West is definitely in store for some massive changes.
